35, male, single and game for anything (Don’t get any ideas… read on)!
Army brat and an only child, so was spoilt rotten. Traipsed from school to school across India –Dehradoon, Hyderabad, Binnaguri (yeah, Google it!) to Jaipur.
Like every little boy, wanted to be a Fighter Pilot. The Air Force’s loss was the Corporate World’s gain – off I went to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade as its youngest member of the MBA class of 1997.
Fast forward, through the dot com boom and bust, the first coming of "cloud" or as it was known then - "network centric computing", the PDA revolution that wasn’t , and there I was a Jack of All Trades (Of course, I prefer the term All Rounder!)– having dirtied and at times bloodied my hands in business development, project management, consulting, content development, and game design.
Have plied my trade across most of the world - India, APAC, Middle East, Europe and the U.S.
Worked for start-ups as well as global business groups – Indian and foreign-owned. Lived and worked in Delhi, Mumbai and the U.S., and now back in Mumbai.
Ultimately settled down with a (digital) muse and mine is gaming – in all its many splendored avatars – console gaming, military simulation and wargaming (where I was fortunate to work with the U.S Air Force and the Indian Army on two separate assignments), advergaming, casual gaming, learning games, and now social gaming.
Currently helming my own Start-up, looking to change the game in the Indian gaming scene, one game at a time. With a cricket-based IP matured and commercialized and a Bollywood-based IP in-process it's Game On!
